1.2. By visiting our website or purchasing our products, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.3. We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these terms by posting updates on this page. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Eligibility
2.1. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your state of residence, to place an order. If you are younger, you may use our website only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
2.2. By agreeing to these terms, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate, complete and up to date.
Products and Services
3.1. Our products, including the Pauze Kit Limited Edition, are described as accurately as possible on our website. Colors, packaging and images may vary slightly from what you receive, and we cannot guarantee that descriptions or other content are entirely error-free.
3.2. The Pauze Kit is a limited edition. We reserve the right to modify, replace or discontinue any product at any time without prior notice.
3.3. Our products are cosmetic and home fragrance products. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition.
Orders and Payment
4.1. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Placing an order does not constitute a binding contract until we confirm it.
4.2. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons such as incorrect pricing, product unavailability or suspected fraudulent activity. If we cancel an order after payment, you will receive a full refund.
4.3. All prices are displayed in US dollars (USD). Applicable sales taxes, if any, are calculated at checkout.
4.4. Payments must be made through the methods specified at checkout. By placing an order, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
4.5. Pauze products are made to order. Once your order is placed, it enters production, which is why cancellation requests must be sent to us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that an order can be cancelled once production has started.
Shipping and Delivery
5.1. We currently ship to addresses in the United States only. Free standard shipping is offered on US orders.
5.2. Because each order is made to order, production takes approximately one month, followed by international shipping to your address. Total delivery time is estimated at 5 weeks from the date of your order. You will receive email updates when your order enters production, when it ships, and when tracking is available.
5.3. Shipping times are estimates and may vary depending on your location and carrier conditions. Pauze is not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers, customs or events beyond our control.
5.4. Import duties, customs fees and related border charges on your order are paid by Pauze. You will not be asked to pay any additional fees at delivery.
5.5. You are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address. We are not responsible for orders lost or delayed because of an incorrect address.
5.6. Please inspect your package on arrival. If your order is damaged or incomplete, contact us as described in Section 6.
Returns and Refunds
6.1. We accept returns of unused and unopened products within 30 days of delivery.
6.2. If your product arrives damaged, defective or incomplete, contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the product and packaging. We will offer a replacement or a refund at our discretion.
6.3. To start a return, contact us at the email address below before sending anything back. Do not return items to the address shown on the shipping label. We will provide you with return instructions. Except for damaged, defective or incomplete orders, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
6.4. Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected, usually within 10 business days. Original shipping is non-refundable except where the return is due to our error.
6.5. Opened, used or partially used products, including candles that have been lit, cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons.
Skin Safety and Product Use
7.1. Our skincare products are for external use only. Everyone's skin is different, and we recommend reading the full ingredient list before use.
7.2. Perform a patch test before first use, especially if you have sensitive skin or known allergies. Stop using the product and consult a healthcare professional if irritation occurs. Avoid contact with eyes except for the eye patches, which are designed for use under the eyes.
7.3. Candles must be burned following the safety instructions provided. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from children, pets and flammable materials.
7.4. Pauze is not liable for reactions or damages resulting from misuse of the products or failure to follow the instructions provided.
Intellectual Property
8.1. All content on this website, including the Pauze name, logo, images, text, graphics, videos and product designs, is the property of Pauze and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
8.2. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or use any of this content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
Limitation of Liability
9.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pauze is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or our products.
9.2. Our total liability for any claim related to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
9.3. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right you may have under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded or limited.
Privacy
10.1. We collect and use your personal information, including through cookies and similar technologies, as described in our Privacy Policy. By using our website, you acknowledge that you have read it.
Governing Law
11.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11.2. Any dispute arising from these terms will be submitted to the competent courts of the Province of Quebec, Canada, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you may have in your place of residence.
